TROOP 68 Mission Statement

Troop 68 is sponsored by the Beavercreek Church of the Brethren and has been providing Boy Scouting to the Beavercreek community since 1958.  Our mission is to provide a quality Boy Scout program to the area’s young men for the purpose of helping parents and guardians raise up energetic young boys into men of good character and conscience.  Boy Scouts accomplishes this through provision of activities that are physically active, teaches life skills, promotes selflessness through service to others, trains leaders for tomorrow and builds confidence through merit badge and rank advancement.  Our program is an extension of the Beavercreek Church of the Brethren’s youth outreach program and we aim to instill in our young men a strong foundation for life built upon the principle that “a Scout is Reverent”.

A Scout is . . . Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent
